KINGSPORT — A KPD spokesman said authorities were able to identify and arrest the alleged suspects after receiving calls from numerous citizens who saw the two on security camera footage released to local media.

Police say Food City video shows the suspect unloading her groceries into her car, after which she drives around the parking lot a couple of times. She then parks again in the same spot, calling 911 to report she was hit by a vehicle.

KINGSPORT — The incident happened on Oct. 8 at Walmart on Fort Henry Drive. The suspect allegedly towed the television in a shopping cart behind her motorized scooter out the front door of the store. The television is valued at approximately $1,000.
