Piney Flats man sentenced in counterfeit postage scheme

A 34-year-old Piney Flats man has been sentenced to 14 months in federal prison for using more than $200,000 in counterfeit postage with his online vinyl decal business.

A Kingsport woman is facing numerous charges after allegedly pouring a bottle of liquor on her daughter, ripping off the other woman's shirt and attempting to choke her with it, then biting an officer after she was pepper sprayed.
