Alleged 'drugged driver' fled police 75 mph in wrong lane

An alleged "drugged driver" who fled a traffic stop Friday afternoon 75 mph in the wrong lane of a two lane highway in Surgoinsville is facing several charges including drug possession, DUI, and felony reckless endangerment.

A U-Haul truck reportedly stolen from Arizona was located in Kingsport over the weekend in the possession of an Elizabethton man, along with six counterfeit checks totaling more than $12,000, according to a police report.
