KPD: Recently arrested auto burglary trio linked to additional crimes

In each of these cases of auto burglary, the vehicles had been left unlocked by the owners, and in both cases of vehicles being stolen, the keys had been left in the vehicles by the owners. Police are urging city residents to lock vehicles.

A Hawkins County man might have been better off turning up the volume on his TV Tuesday evening rather than calling police about a loud disturbance in the apartment next door which turned out to be a man and woman having sex.

A Hawkins County woman managed to dial 911 and throw her cell phone outside for police to trace early Thursday morning before her boyfriend allegedly placed her in a headlock and used a butcher knife to intimidate her.

The officer followed and noticed Bush attempting to climb the fence. While attempting to climb, Chadd Michael Bush got stuck on the fence, at which time the officer was able to take him into custody.

A suspect in thefts across multiple jurisdictions has been arrested inside an allegedly stolen car, reports the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, and just shortly after he and a woman swiped several items from a Bloomingdale apartment.
