KPD: Motorist's rage towards estranged wife prompts felony charges

Police are searching for a man who allegedly pursued his estranged wife on multiple Kingsport streets — striking her vehicle with his own on East Stone Drive — then side-swiping another motorist while fleeing an attempted traffic stop.

James Casteel was awakened by the child crying. He fed the six-month-old and changed its diaper, but the crying continued. So Casteel allegedly shook the child and threw him down on the bed in an attempt to stop the crying.

Lesley Aaron Cole received the sentence in U.S. District Court in Greeneville on Monday. Judge Ronnie Greer also ordered Cole be on supervised release for three years and spend 500 hours in a substance abuse treatment program while incarcerated.
