Man allegedly threatens to kill Sullivan County dispatcher

A Kingsport resident has been arrested after allegedly making multiple, non-emergency calls to 911, then threatening to kill a dispatcher for what he perceived as a failure to meet his concerns.

The first of Monday morning's "back-to-back" 911 calls from the residence claimed someone — apparently the 24-year-old shooting victim — was trying to set the inside of the home on fire. The second call reported shots fired.
