Local drug trafficking leads to prison sentence

A Greeneville man who attacked and robbed a man at gunpoint during a cocaine deal in Kingsport - and later fought police along the shoulder of I-26 - has been sentenced to more than 23 years in prison.

A woman who broke into a Bristol, Tenn., home and Tasered the resident as they were lying in bed was motivated by a perceived breach of contract, according to a police report, that allegedly resulted in her dogs dying while she was incarcerated.
