Feds sentence three Wise County residents in synthetics distribution case

Seven defendants, including three Wise County residents, have been sentenced in federal court as a result of a multi-agency investigation into the distribution of synthetic cannabinoids (synthetic pot) in Wise County and Gainesville, Fla.

A Kingsport resident has been arrested for allegedly slicing open a man's neck with a razor knife, then readily fessing up to the incident for police: "Yeah, I cut the (expletive) - it was a thrill."

A suspect was captured on surveillance video. He appears to be a white male, in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches in height with a stocky build. He has short hair and a thin mustache and goatee.

A Massachusetts jury on Wednesday found Aaron Hernandez killed Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. He was found shot six times less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
