Attempted murder indictment for man accused of shooting at girlfriend

A Hawkins County man accused of firing two gunshots at his girlfriend during an argument over a cigarette rolling machine was indicted Monday on two charges including Class A felony attempted first-degree murder.

In responding to a report of a fight at a Kingsport bar, officers found a woman in the parking lot screaming, "(Expletive) the police!" The female - listed at 4 feet 11 and 128 lbs - then "squared up" and boasted, "Yeah, I said it!"
