Smoke shop owner pleads not guilty

GREENEVILLE — The owner of Kingsport’s now-closed White Cloud Emporium pleaded not guilty in federal court Thursday to allegations that he sold synthetic drugs and laundered money through that store and three others located in Northeast Tennessee.

SURGOINSVILLE — Attorney General Berkeley Bell says the biological father and stepmother forced her to drink as many as 4.5 12-ounce bottles of grape soda and an unknown amount of water. “They also failed to take care of the child once she was injured.”
