Wife charged after allegedly knocking man down stairwell

A Mount Carmel woman accused of causing her husband to fall down a stairway during a "heated argument" last week was arraigned Monday on one count of domestic assault.

In responding to a disturbance at Cloud Apartments, officers found two brothers fighting "in the middle of the street." One man ignored police commands to stop and tried to continue his attack, but instead slipped and fell.
