KPD: Propane man ripped off clients

A Kingsport businessman was allegedly blowing smoke up his customers' chimneys when agreeing to install gas logs and fireplaces, as he's now jailed and accused of collecting more than $5,000 for work he never began.

Firefighters on the scene at 107 Tucker Hill Road were able to detect where someone had walked through a field to the burning residence, but the K-9 unit wasn't able to pick up a trail.
