'Low Country Boil' to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Hawkins County

Event organizers say their fundraiser was such a huge hit last year that they had no hesitation in keeping it going. The club provides a safe environment for our children to do homework, play, engage in group activities and socialize.

A good Samaritan stopped when he saw the injured dog and eventually took it to Airport Pet Emergency Clinic, where the veterinarian said the dog had road rash and a broken pelvis.
