Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome to come to the aquatic center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday to enjoy an afternoon in the pool. The cost of the event is $5 per dog with a maximum of two dogs per person.

The first phase of work, which was funded by about $400,000 in grants, saw the mill's foundation repaired and stabilized and its waterwheel refurbished. A new water flume, porch and handicapped-accessible walkway were also included in the project.
