New things are happening at Hunger First — a new director, a donated freezer and a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank — but donations have almost dried up. Each month they feed around 500 to 600 people, no questions asked.

The present church was built about 1899, but the site was used about the time of the founding of Rogersville for revivals done by the famous Bishop Francis Ashbury who stayed at the Thomas Amis Stagecoach Inn.
