SW Va. Museum announces tree festival winners

Volunteers decorated trees, mantels, doorways and banisters throughout the museum, sharing their talents and holiday spirit with all visitors. This past season 81 groups showcased their creativity to create a beautiful collection of displays.

City seeking grant to build sidewalk along Stone Drive

If approved, the plan would be to build a sidewalk along the south side of Stone Drive, from roughly the Subway restaurant near Gibson Mill Road to American Way near John B. Dennis Highway.

Lenowisco offers free flu vaccinations

Lenowisco Health District Director Dr. Eleanor Sue Cantrell said many cases of flu are being reported this year across the three-county area, and a vaccination is recommended each year for everyone six months of age and older.
