The State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) has announced the finalists for the 4th Annual SCORE Prize and, for the second consecutive year, Kingsport City Schools has been named a finalist.

Area students have less than two weeks left to enter the design contest for the medal, which will be based on the Civil War veteran's medal. The back of the medal reads "150th Anniversary, Battle of Kingsport, Dec. 13, 1864-2014."
