Annual community health fairs will be held Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16, at locations in Dickenson and Wise counties. Organizers of this two-day event, link area health-care providers with local consumers to provide a spectrum of health service

Before and after the Battle of Stones River near Murfrees- boro, the 19th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry Regiment received replacements for those lost in battle. They were conscripts — courtesy of the Confederate draft.
