Davis Ward is doing all he can to help his elderly dog, Rambo, continue to live a full and comfortable life, despite Rambo’s diabetes diagnosis several months ago.

Otis Vicars was a 20-year-old soldier in 1960 and had scored a 24-hour pass from Fort Campbell, Ky. He had hitchhiked home to Kingsport for a quick visit. On the turnaround journey, he was on the west side of Knoxville at a service station.
