Tens of thousands of gallons of water showered down on a sea of dripping children as they scattered and dashed through the mist at Wednesday afternoon’s Fun Fest Splash Dance on Ormond Drive.

KINGSPORT — Prizes were awarded to three creative artists at Tuesday night’s first ever Fun Fest Chalk Walk at Beef ‘O’Brady’s. Best Overall and a $75 Walmart gift card went to Jess Brundige for her depiction of a grinning alien and planets.
