KINGSPORT — The city of Kingsport plans to keep its promise to build a mobility path from the Riverview community to the aquatic center, though work on the final phase of the project will likely not begin until after the end of the summer swimming season.

Fun Fest events focus on Kingsport’s past

Two new Fun Fest events are scheduled this year to educate participants about Kingsport’s past. A scavenger hunt and a self-guided historical tour, “Take a Walk Through Time,” can both be done at your leisure throughout the nine-day festival.
