Christian group plans prayer to open Hawkins ‘Super Bowl’

ROGERSVILLE — The Hawkins County-based Christian organization Expecting God’s Help (EGH) released a statement announcing it will be leading a recital of “The Lord’s Prayer” during a moment of silence that will be observed prior to kickoff Friday night.

ROGERSVILLE — A “pound puppy” was so attached to the Corvette that carried her home, mechanics had to remove the passenger seat to get her out of the car. She was the last of the 68 animals rescued from deplorable conditions in April to be adopted.
