Kingsport city offices will be closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Garbage pickup will be on a regular schedule Monday. The demolition landfill will be closed.

For the second time this summer, Bays Mountain Park has lost a member of its family. Park officials announced on Saturday one of its oldest grey wolves - Ahote - had to be euthanized on Friday.
