While the elves were toiling away last week at the North Pole making toys in preparation for Santa's big tour Wednesday night, the boss has been cruising Kingsport in a souped up, rebuilt 1940 Pirsch fire truck.

Christmas is the season for giving, and one local nonprofit organization gave almost 100 area children a better Christmas. Hunger First, the no-questions-asked free store, threw a Christmas party for 30 families on Monday.
