You show us your game faces and we show them off in our #MetsMugs: Game Faces of the Week fan photo gallery! Each week, one lucky fan wins a prize pack from the Times News and Kingsport Mets. In addition, the winner's #MetsMugs entry is featured in the sports section of the Sunday newspaper.
This week's winner is Lois Williams. She shared a #MetsMugs photo on Instagram of her #nephews Rowan and Rhys enjoying "Friday night baseball! Kingsport Mets defeat Bristol Pirates in the 10th, 9-8." As our weekly winner, Lois will receive a fan prize pack that includes the popular Times News comic strips umbrella, tickets to a future K-Mets game, food vouchers for the concession stand and a special Mets gift!
Each year, the Times News and K-Mets team up for a fan photo contest. This year, we're asking you to share a photo(s) of your #MetsMugs at each home game for a chance to win the weekly prize pack. The winner is drawn randomly at 2 p.m. on Friday from all of the photo entries received that week. Entries received after 2 p.m. on Fridays are automatically entered the following week.
Here's how to enter:
1) Snap a selfie or photo(s) of your friends and family members with their game faces on during each Kingsport Mets home game at Hunter Wright Stadium.
2) Email it to: [email protected] Or share it on Twitter or Instagram using #MetsMugs. Please be sure your social media settings are set to public so that we can find your entry, and don't forget to include a caption for your post!
3) Pick up the Sunday newspaper to see the weekly winner in print or visit www.timesnews.net after 4:30 p.m., Sunday, to view all of the entries in the #MetsMugs: Game Faces of the Week online gallery.
The weekly winner can pick up the prize pack in the K-Mets office at Hunter Wright Stadium (800 Granby Road) any time between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m, Monday through Friday. The person who is listed as the winner will need to claim the prize in person.
Enter as often as you like! There's a new winner every week!
