ROGERSVILLE - Hawkins County commissioners Darrell Gilliam and B.D. Cradic began hanging a series of "historic doucments" in the courthouse side of the Hawkins County Justice Center Friday afternoon.
Although the Ten Commandments will be among the historic documents included in the collection, it was forgotten and wasn't among those placed on the courthouse wall Friday afternoon.
Gilliam said all the displays which have already been purchased should be hanging on the justice center wall sometime next week. The displays were purchased with funds contributed by private individuals and churches in Hawkins County.
