New equipment means chocolate expansion for Bellafina Chocolates

KINGSPORT — Making chocolate is fun! It smells good, it tastes good, and it’s a beautiful process, but it can be time consuming. This is a well-known fact at Bellafina Chocolates on Cherokee Street in beautiful downtown Kingsport. As the holiday season approaches and the truffle orders increase, owner Brenda Barnicki proactively purchased a larger, second chocolate production line that will more than triple the capacity for truffle production this Christmas and throughout the year. With a new tempering machine, enrobing line, and cooling tunnel, the artisan truffles customers know and love can be made faster and more efficiently without losing their amazing taste and freshness.

Each custom truffle is made to order with only the freshest ingredients. “We use fresh cream and butter and fine chocolate,” says Brenda. “Then we add the good stuff that gives our chocolate its signature decadent flavor. Pureed fruit, fresh brewed coffee, natural orange oil, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and yes…local moonshine. This new production line will allow us to further our dual goals of helping threatened children and giving struggling women a chance to improve their lives.”

Bellafina Chocolates donates 100% profits to women’s and children’s charities. It is operated with the help of many volunteers and a few paid positions created specifically for women recovering from addiction or abuse. You can check out the retail store at 123 Cherokee Street or place your personal or corporate Christmas orders online today at www.BellafinaChocolates.com The company ships across the U.S. Order now and you’ll be just in time for Christmas!
