St. Clair Elementary students join country in National Anthem 'Sing-A-Long'

BILLS GAP — St. Clair Elementary School students took part of the 5th annual National Anthem 'Sing-A-Long' on Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. by by singing The Star Spangled Banner along with students and communities across America.

This program unites people across the U.S. in pride, patriotism and song, honoring the resilience of America and Americans over time.

Along with singing the national anthem, students recited the pledge and held a moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11.

Bulls Gap Fire Department, Hawkins County Rescue Squad, Hawkins County EMS, Hawkins Sheriff Department Sheriff Ronnie Lawson and SRO Stephen Williams and Hawkins County Mayor Jim Lee and Commissioner Bob Edens participated in the event.
