Babies, Teens, & In-Betweens is an event designed to showcase products and services for kids, to both kids and adults, in a fun and interactive environment. Tri-Cities Kidspo will serve to create an interesting atmosphere where kids, parents, caregivers, education professionals, and health professionals can come together to educate families on wellness, provide hands-on activities, prize drawings, contests, informative workshops, and family-friendly entertainment.

This FUN event will feature both informative booth displays and stage demonstration/presentations. Focus areas will be healthy eating, the importance of physical activity and the fun associated with exercise. Tri-Cities Kidspo features the Wellmont Fun Zone complete with hours of fun and interactive inflatables.

The weekend will be filled with fun, prizes, giveaways, and healthy learning. While providing the opportunity for families to spend the day together, parents can learn about products and services offered at each exhibitor’s booth.

Clothes, shoes, furniture. Toys, dolls, bicycles. Computers and electronics. Fitness-dance-gymnastics-martial arts schools. Pediatricians. Pets. Orthodontists. Musical instruments and instructors. Daycares/schools/learning centers. Sporting goods and sports activities. Health Care, Banks, financial planning. Amusement parks, restaurants, entertainment for kids.

Farm Expo 2009

Farm Expo returns to MeadowView Convention Center January 23-25, 2009. This will be our twelfth year of hosting farming, families, and fun. Farm Expo 2009 will again feature the latest farm, lawn and garden equipment, products, and services as well as agricultural expertise and all the fun stuff like the Hog-Callin’ Contest, the Country Fair & Ladies Market, and the 4-H Playland & Petting Zoo. Farm Expo returned to MeadowView Convention Center in Kingsport and showcased the latest farm, lawn, and garden equipment, products, and services, and celebrated ten years of providing agricultural education and fun to the families of our region.

The event featured almost one hundred exhibitors between the main convention hall and the Country Fair & Ladies Market, and offered products for gentlemen and ladies alike, as well as a lot of fun for kids of all ages. Some of the features of the weekend included the 4-H Discovery Playland & Petting Zoo - complete with live animals and lots of games; an 1850s Farmstead presented by Exchange Place complete with traditional games, crafts, and demonstrations from that day; a Little Kids Tractor Pull; musical entertainment throughout the weekend; a hog-callin' contest; a turkey calling contest; and a Sunday afternoon ice cream social. Agricultural seminars was held on Friday evening and Saturday, featuring agricultural experts from across Tennessee and Virginia speaking on a variety of timely subjects. This year also featured a special children's entertainer - Farmer Jason - and the chance for Expo attendees to roll the dice for a Toyota Tundra truck.

Farm Expo was a special project of the Kingsport Times-News.

Thank you, Women's Expo visitors!

Women's Expo attracted women from all over our region. They came to have fun, shop, and educate themselves. They came to explore new hobbies and pamper themselves. They came looking for things/ways to improve their homes; for health and financial information; for cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, and beauty services. They came to get information on new products and services in our area.

The Largest Women's Event in the greater Tri-Cities Region, featuring over 100 exhibitors, door prizes, seminars and stage shows during the weekend. A FUN Girls' Day Out that will be held for the ninth time this fall.
