Mr. and Mrs. Roy B. (Monnie M. Hall) Baker of Blountville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open reception to be held in their honor from 5 to 7 p.m., June 18, 2010, at Wheeler United Methodist Church.The event is being hosted by their children.The couple was married June 17, 1960, in Gate City, Va.They are the parents of Jeff Baker of Blountville; Boyce Baker of Blountville, and Vance and DeeDee Baker of Blountville.They are the grandparents of Brittany Morrison, Bryan and Wes Baker, and Katie and Amanda Baker. Mr. Baker retired from Eastman Chemical Co. Mrs. Baker is employed at Pardner's Bar-B-Que.The presence of family and friends is the only gift requested.
Kirk 50th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emory (Martha Obdulia Dominguez) Kirk celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 13, 2010.The couple was married in Saint Patrick's Cathedral Catholic Church in El Paso, Texas. A blessing of their marriage will be given by the Rev. Michael F. Nolan at Saint Dominic's Catholic Church.They are the parents of Martha Elizabeth and Scott Bailey of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Patricia Ann and Lee Bridges of Tucson, Ariz.; Rebecca Kirk and Mark Lockhart of Birmingham, Ala., and Teresa Lynn and Anthony Allen of Birmingham.They are the grandparents of Haley Alexa, Ryan Andrew and Jack Robert Lockhart, Even Kirk and Connor Brice Bailey.Mr. Kirk retired from Eastman Chemical Co.Martha is a Minister of Communion at Saint Dominic and a volunteer at Holston Valley Medical Center. She enjoys her many hobbies at home.
Robbins 70th wedding anniversary
God has blessed Walter A. Robbins Sr. and Lillian A. (Price) Robbins with 70 wonderful years of marriage together. The couple was married April 13, 1940, in Jonesville, Va., with the Rev. O.C. Wright officiating. They moved to Kingsport in 1945, where they reside today.To celebrate this very special time a reception was given in their honor by their children, Anita C. Smith and Dr. Walter A. Robbins Jr. They were joined by family and friends at Magnolia Banquet Hall, Kingsport, for this special occasion.Thank you to everyone who attended and made this so special and wonderful for them.

Anna Ruth Mullins Huddle will celebrate her 90th birthday with a reception to be held in her honor from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Ross Camp Ground United Methodist Church Cabin.Mrs. Huddle was born June 14, 1920, in Hawkins County, Tenn., to Frank and Ida Fletcher Mullins. She was married to John Huddle for 61 years until his death in March 2000.She is the mother of Kay Webb, Sandra Boyd and Larry Huddle. She is the grandmother of Wayne and Ron Webb, Tom Boyd, Keith Huddle, Melissa Ward and Natalie Huddle. She is the great-grandmother of Kevin, Chad, Nick and Kasey Webb; Lela Hart; Delaney and Braden Boyd; Kaelie Huddle; Taylor and Zachary Suttles; and Steven and Alyssa Ward. She is the great-great-grandmother of Kyle, Waylon and Jayda Webb.She retired from Holston Valley Medical Center and is an active member of Ross Camp Ground United Methodist Church.The presence of family and friends is the only gift requested.
