Mrs. Ruth H. Ringstaff celebrated her 100th birthday on May 3, 2010, in Abingdon, Va.Ruth is a retired teacher who has always had a passion for teaching whether it was in school or in church. She continues to live in her home while enjoying the company of others to help her.A birthday celebration for Ruth was held at Abingdon First United Methodist Church on May 2, 2010. Ms. Sensibaugh graduated from Sullivan South High School and was a summa cum laude graduate of Carson Newman College. She is pursuing a master's in business administration degree at the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University. She is employed as director of sales and marketing at the Nashville Airport Marriott.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Neil and Marion Cox, and the grandson of Muriel Smith of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, and the late Milson Smith, and the late Charles and Edith Ward. Mr. Cox graduated from Kenner Collegiate High School, Peterborough, and received a bachelor's degree in hotel & convention management from Centennial College in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Cox has been employed with Marriott International for 10 years and currently serves as a senior account executive for the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa, Marco Island, Fla.

She graduated from Gate City High School, and is a student majoring in music education at East Tennessee State University.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Robert and Theda Jennings of Gate City, and the grandson of M.C. and Josephine Pafford of Kingsport, and Robert and Mildred Jennings of Gate City. He graduated from Gate City High School and Mountain Empire Community College. He is employed at VA Medical Center, Johnson City.

Matt Tullos, pastor of Bluegrass Baptist Church, officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Sharon Lingerfelt and husband Jim Lingerfelt, and Teddy Loftis and wife Teresa Loftis, all of Hendersonville. She is the granddaughter of the late Betty Ann Loftis, the late Henry and Margie Phelps, and the late Jake and Dorothy Warden. The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Sandy Allen of Kingsport, and the grandson of the late Ira and Ruth Allen, and the late Walter and Elizabeth Peugeot.The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.Christy Loftis, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Ashley Loftis, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Jessica McMurry, niece of the bride, was flower girl.Andrew Allen served his brother as best man. She is employed as a Pre-K teacher with Robertson County Public Schools.The bridegroom graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and received a degree in marketing from Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tenn. He is owner of Avallo Humidors, Nashville.Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple resides in Hendersonville.
