Wendy Heck celebrated his 95th birthday with a reception held in his honor May 2, 2010, at Skyland Falls Clubhouse. The event was hosted by friends and family.Mr. Heck was born May 8, 1915, in Hawkins County. He has been married to Kathleen Heck for 16 years. He is the stepfather of Sam and Jerry Smith, and Traci Hensley. He has three grandchildren.Mr. Heck was the owner of Heck Motors for 50 years until his retirement.He is a member of Bible Baptist Church, the Antique Car Club and the American Legion.

She is the granddaughter of Shirley Britt of Kingsport, the late Dave Britt, and Jerry and Mary Etta Minor of Kingsport. The bridegroom is the son of Ray Kindle of Kingsport, and Ann Franklin and husband Charlie of Kingsport. He is the grandson of Fred Frazier of Kingsport, the late Dorothy Frazier, C.C. Kindle of Kingsport, and the late Ruby Kindle.The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.Kimberly Townsend was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Lane, Tanaya Sanders and Khazel Gortney. Lindsey Hurd was flower girl.Nakia Cyphers served as best man. Groomsmen were Eli Jobe, Andy Cleek and Parker Weems. Ushers were Dylan Price, Chad Cabell, Tyler Cabell and Dalton Price. Cody Goode was ring bearer.The bride graduated from Sullivan South High School, and is employed at Walgreen's Pharmacy. The bridegroom graduated from Sullivan North High School. He is employed by Eastman Chemical Co. and Church Hill EMS. He is a member of Masonic Lodge No. 274, Fall Branch.Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Kingsport.

She will receive a degree in K-6 education from East Tennessee State University in May 2011.
