She graduated from Gate City High School in 2009, and is self-employed.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Margarita D. Pedroso of Weber City, and the grandson of Roger and Joyce Rivero of Weber City. He graduated from Gate City High School in 2006, and is employed with the Scott County Sheriff's Office.
Hamilton and Tate engagement
Bethany Ann Hamilton of Gate City, Va., and Michael Shaun Tate II of Bristol, Va., plan to be married at 4 p.m., July 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Weber City, Va.The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeff and Carolyn Hamilton of Gate City, and the granddaughter of Jack and Nancy Hamilton of Hiltons, Va.; Dorothy Gilliam of Manville, Va.; and the late Pat Gilliam. She graduated from Gate City High School and in 2005, received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Virginia Tech. In 2008, she received a master of education degree from King College. She is a member of First Baptist Church, Weber City, and is employed as a teacher at Dobyns-Bennett High School.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Michael Tate and Kathy Tate, both of Bristol, and the grandson of Vincent and Gloria Gately of Bristol, and Harmon and Helen Simcox of Bristol. He graduated from John Battle High School and in 2005, received a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from the University of Alabama. He attends First Baptist Church, Weber City, and will pursue a master of education degree this fall. He is employed by Aaron's.
Vermillion and Reber engagement
Diane Michelle Vermillion of Kingsport, and Michael Wayne Reber of Sunbright, Tenn., plan to be married at 5 p.m., Aug. 7, 2010, at Corey Ippolito Vineyard.The bride-elect is the daughter of Danny and Heather Vermillion of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Mary Berry of LaFollette, Tenn., the late James Berry, the late Kelly Vermillion and the late Mary Vermillion. She graduated from Sullivan South High School, where she was a member of the Lady Rebel's soccer team and the band. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. She is employed at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Wayne and Toni Reber of Sunbright, and the grandson of Beatrice Smith of West Robbins, Tenn., the late Ben Smith, James Reber of Belgium, and the late Harriet Reber. He graduated from Scott High School, where he was a member of the football, basketball, soccer and track teams. He received a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in accounting from ETSU, where he was a member of the track team. He is employed at the Treasury Department, Knoxville. Following their honeymoon, the couple plans to reside in Knoxville.
Maricle and Fulkerson engagement
Dr. Kristin M. Maricle and Capt. David W. Fulkerson, USAF, both of Omaha, Neb., would like to announce their engagement and approaching marriage. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Keith and Mary Ann Maricle of Albion, Neb., and the granddaughter of Irene Maricle of Albion, the late Gordon Maricle, Mary Lundak of Lincoln, Neb., and the late Edward Lundak. Kristin graduated from Albion High School, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She will complete her family medicine residency at UNMC in June and will be employed at the Methodist Physicians Clinic in Glenwood, Iowa.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Wayne Fulkerson of Deville, La., and the grandson of the late Bob and Jean Fulkerson, who lived in Kingsport prior to their passing. David graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, and the University of Minnesota, Crookston, Minn. He is a pilot in the United States Air Force stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. The couple met at Rockbrook United Methodist Church in Omaha, Neb., where they will be married July 10, 2010.
Taylor and McInturff engagement
Brittani Nicole Taylor of Mount Carmel, and Trey Austin McInturff of Church Hill, plan to be married at 6 p.m., June 26, 2010, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.The bride-elect is the daughter of Larry and Nell Taylor of Mount Carmel. She graduated from Volunteer High School and magna cum laude from Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tenn., with a bachelor of music degree in music education. She is employed as a band director at Twin Springs High School and as a choir director at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Rocky and Terri McInturff of Church Hill, and the grandson of Charles McInturff of Church Hill, the late Ann McInturff, and Buck Jones of Peoria, Ill. He is the great-grandson of Juanita Catron of Mount Carmel. He graduated from Volunteer High School and is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy at East Tennessee State University College of Pharmacy. He is a member of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church choir.
