Crystal Renee Bolling and Dr. Christopher Shawn Smith were united in marriage on Sept. 5, 2009 in a private ceremony on the lawn of The Mansion at Spindletop, Lexington, Ky. This date, chosen in memory of Crystal's parents, would have been their wedding anniversary. The Rev. Scott Morgan officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of the late Albert and Juanita Bolling. The bridegroom is the son of Dale and Wilma Smith of Clintwood, Va.The bride arrived at the ceremony in a carriage driven by a white horse. The bridegroom walked along an aisle blanketed with rose petals to meet his bride halfway, symbolizing their relationship of always meeting in the middle.Misty Lawson Hochkeppel was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were April Beverly Yeary, Angie Yorke Atwood, Cindy Presley Moore and Errika Mace Best. Honorary bridesmaid was Monica Turner Dixon. Junior bridesmaid was Haley Faith Mullins. Flower girls were Allyson Grace Yeary, Gracelyn Lee Moore and Maura Elizabeth Lawson. Dale Smith and Dr. Allen Mullins served as best men. Groomsmen were Ricky Smith, Dr. Jon Dixon, Dr. Nathan Elliott, Dr. Bernie Sergent and Tim Hochkeppel. Ring bearer was the couple's beloved Labrador retriever, Higgins.The bride graduated from J.J. Kelly High School and the University of Virginia's College at Wise.The bridegroom graduated from Clintwood High School, the University of Virginia's College at Wise and Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine, Pikeville, Ky. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va. He is currently the medical director of the emergency department at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Va.For their honeymoon, the couple chose Venice, Italy. They followed their stay with a cruise of the Mediterranean. The couple resides in Norton, Va.

The bridegroom is the son of John and Debbie Morris of Salem, and the grandson of Mrs. Julia Manning, the late Mr. Melvin Manning, Mrs. Jane Morris and the late Mr. Clyde Morris.The bride was given in marriage by her father.Ms. Emily Phipps was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Stephanie Strutner, Mrs. Becky Horton, Mrs. Amy Morris, Ms. Brittany Hartgrove and Mrs. Kate Farmer.Mr. Dustin Morris served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Matt Strutner, Mr. Mike Farmer, Mr. Steven D'Antonio, Mr. Will Weeks and Mr. John Guidi.The bride graduated from Gate City High School and Roanoke College. She will graduate from East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, after finishing her rotations this year.The bridegroom graduated from Salem High School, Roanoke College, Virginia Western Community College and Virginia Tech in May 2010.Following a wedding trip to Cherry Grove, S.C., the couple resides in Elizabethton.

Tiffany is a 1999 graduate of Tennessee High School, and a 2003 graduate of East Tennessee State University. She is employed by the Bristol Chamber of Commerce, Bristol. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Ramsey, the late Lynn Ramsey, and the late Merle and Vennie Parker.Dustin is a 2001 graduate of Sullivan Central High School, and a 2006 graduate of East Tennessee State University. He is employed by Farrar & Bates LLP, Nashville. He is the grandson of Bobby and Jean Goforth, Randy and Linda Hoskins, and Kathy and Charles Rutledge.The couple plans to be married in a private wedding ceremony on Aug. 28, 2010.

She is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Johnson City.The bridegroom graduated from Walker Valley High School, Cleveland, and received a bachelor's degree in speech communication from East Tennessee State University, where he was a member of Wesley Foundation and served as preview and orientation leader for the university. He is employed as an admissions representative at King College, and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he is also employed as worship leader.Following a wedding trip to Atlanta, the couple resides in Johnson City.
