She is employed at Panera Bread.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Kimberly and Keith Booker, and the grandson of Jerry and Christine Booker, the late James Nickels, and Connie Nickels. He graduated from Sullivan South High School in 2008. He is employed at Captain D's restaurant.

She is employed as assistant manager at Sally Beauty Supply, and is a member of Midway Memorial United Methodist Church.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Phil and Jackie Henry of Kingsport, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Gott of Kingsport, and Mr. and Mrs. John Henry of Gate City. He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School. He is the owner and operator of Bass Whacker Guide Service, Lake Guntersville, Ala.
John "J.P." Hensley 80th birthday
John "J.P." Hensley will celebrate his 80th birthday with a party held in his honor from 2 to 4 p.m., May 28, 2011 at Fort Robinson Baptist Church.The event is being hosted by family and friends.John and Grace have been married 60 years and are the parents of Brenda, Mike and Billy.John retired from Tennessee Eastman Co., TPA Department, in 1986.
LaGuardia 68th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Kathryn Huddle) LaGuardia Jr., of Kingsport celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on May 19, 2011.They have nine children, 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.Mr. LaGuardia owned and operated the former Giant Food Markets and Jiffy Markets, which were located throughout East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and western North Carolina.Mrs. LaGuardia has been very active with the Christine LaGuardia Phillips Cancer Center and served many years as chairperson of the Wellmont Cancer Advisory Board.They are members of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fischer (Kathleen Joann Embersics) Pospisil of Gate City, Va., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 20, 2011.The couple was married on May 20, 1961, in Hawaii.They are the parents of Donna Stoyer (Doug) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Scott Pospisil (Andree) of Geneva, Ill.; Diane Pospisil-Kinney (Todd) of Batavia, Ill., and Denise Pospisil-Marciano (Justin).They are the grandparents of Sophie, Ben and Max Stoyer; Scott, Nick, Allie and Sam Pospisil; and Ronnie, Victoria and Dakota Kinney.
