They came to Kingsport that summer, where Witt worked for Eastman Chemical Co. for 36 years before retiring in 1986.They both want to express their sincere appreciation to the Kingsport community for providing such a favorable environment for raising and educating their children. This is particularly true for the schools and churches, which they and their family attended. They also want to thank their many good friends in Kingsport, and elsewhere for their love and support during the 60 years of their marriage.
