Minister Drew Rimback officiated at the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Bob and Carolyn Prendergast of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Betty Quimby of Johnson City; Cliff and Carole Quimby of Mooresville, N.C.; and the late William Prendergast and the Nancy Paty Prendergast, formerly of Elizabethton. The bridegroom is the son of Ed and Loretta Holtzhower of Soddy Daisy, and the grandson of Joyce Garland of Jonesborough; the late Arthur Garland, formerly of Jonesborough; the late Edna Holtzhower Roberts, the late Arvlee Holtzhower and the late Charles Roberts.The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.Kathryn Prendergast was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Becky Hyatt, Emily Painter and Brooke Palmer.Adam Williams served as best man. Groomsmen were Ed Holtzhower, Eric Holtzhower and Chris Lewis. Ushers were David Garland, Brandon Hudson and Patrick Dennison.The bride graduated from East Tennessee State University. She is employed at Northwest Whitfield High School, Tunnel Hill, Ga.The bridegroom graduated from East Tennessee State University. He is employed at Southeast Diesel Inc., Chattanooga.Following a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple resides in Chattanooga.
