Jordan Christian Durnin of Kingsport and Jared Adam Glover of Kingsport were married Dec. 5, 2009, at First Christian Church. The Rev. Jamie Mawk officiated at the 6 p.m., ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Patric and Karen Durnin, and the granddaughter of G.D. and Mary Ruth Bates, and Jim and Peggy Durnin. The bridegroom is the son of Tony and Karen Wilder, and Mike and Debbie Glover. He is the grandson of Lester and Bobbie Holt, the late James Allen Glover, and the late Faye Wiseman.The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.Haylie Weatherford was matron of honor. Amanda Teague was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Jennifer Nottingham Harville; Peyton Wright; Caroline Bovender; Erin Glover, sister of the bridegroom; Jessica McCurry; Kari Durnin, sister-in-law of the bride; Mandy Armstrong, sister-in-law of the bride; Leigh Ann Wilson and Anna Marie Smith. Flower girls were Abby and Avery Armstrong, nieces of the bride; and Mckenzie Glover, niece of the bridegroom.Mike Glover served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Travis Durnin, brother of the bride; Andrew Armstrong, brother of the bride; Dustin Fleenor; Andrew Weatherford; Quinn Shelton; Josh Stacy and Chris Ball. Cory Hill was ring bearer.The bride graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is employed at Holston Medical Group and Holloway Dance School.The bridegroom graduated from Sullivan South High School and from Northeast State Community College with EMT IV tech certification. He is employed by the Kingsport Police Department.Following a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple resides in Kingsport.
