Amanda Ann Hensley of Kingsport, and Jason W. Haga of Bristol, Va., were married May 29, 2010, at Carnegie Hotel. The Rev. Jim Richmond officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of James and Traci Hensley, and the granddaughter of Thelma Hensley of Kingsport; the late Bill Hensley, formerly of Kingsport; Windy and Kathleen Heck of Kingsport, and the late Gene Smith, formerly of Kingsport. The bridegroom is the son of Randy and Doris Haga of Bristol, Va., and the grandson of James and Margaret Haga of Bristol, Tenn., and the late Otis and Florine Peters, formerly of Bristol, Va.The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.Carrie Carpenter of Kingsport was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Philbrick of Bristol, Va., and Samantha Smith of Kingsport. Hannah Hawk of Bristol, Tenn., was flower girl. Randy Haga of Bristol, Va., served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Clint Philbrick of Bristol, Tenn., and David Haga of Church Hill. Brody Summey of Church Hill, was ring bearer.The bride graduated from Sullivan North High School in 2001, and in 2005 received a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and Alpha Beta Psi. She is employed as a manager at Walgreens.The bridegroom graduated from Virginia High School in 1995, received a bachelor's degree in engineering from ETSU and in 2010 received a master's degree in engineering from ETSU. He is employed as an engineer at Modern Forge, Piney Flats.Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Piney Flats.
