Allison Leigh Wilson of Kingsport, and John Ryan Suits of Cleveland, Tenn., were married Dec. 19, 2009, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Johnson City. The Rev. Jim Richter officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Roger and Vickie Wilson of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Lorraine Moody of Kingsport, the late Milburn Moody, Jean Wilson of Blountville, and the late Ralph Wilson. The bridegroom is the son of Alvin and Connie Suits of Cleveland, and the grandson of the late Johnny and Linda Wallace, formerly of Orlando, Fla., and the late Odell and Joyce Suits, formerly of Cleveland. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.Shelley Thompson was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Suits, Michelle Merrick and K.C. Ogbonnaya. Tiana Berkel was flower girl.James Suits served as best man. Groomsmen were Jarrod Suits, Joe Suits and Colin Spaulding. Ushers were Trevor Wilson and Andy Ladd. A reception was held at the Holiday Inn following the ceremony.The bride graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from East Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Wesley Foundation and Reformed University Fellowship. She is currently enrolled in the physical therapy doctoral program at East Tennessee State University and plans to graduate in December 2011. She is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Johnson City.The bridegroom graduated from Walker Valley High School, Cleveland, and received a bachelor's degree in speech communication from East Tennessee State University, where he was a member of Wesley Foundation and served as preview and orientation leader for the university. He is employed as an admissions representative at King College, and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he is also employed as worship leader.Following a wedding trip to Atlanta, the couple resides in Johnson City.
