Godsey and Llewellyn

Kristin Annette Llewellyn and Patrick Benjamin Godsey were married on Oct. 12, 2013 at World's Fair Park Amphitheater in Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Deborah Llewellyn of Knoxville, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Martin of Knoxville, and Ms. Joyce Cardy of Knoxville. The groom is the son of Gary and Patricia Godsey of Kingsport, Tenn., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Junious Holloman of Aulander, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Godsey Sr. of Johnson City, Tenn.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an Alyne ivory lace gown by Rita Vinieris.

Katy Llewellyn, sister of the bride, of Knoxville, was maid of honor. Laura Johnson of Knoxville served as a bridesmaid.

Gary Godsey, father of the groom, and Joseph Godsey, brother of the groom, of Furth, Germany, served as best men.

The flower girls were Marley Brown of Loudon, Tenn., and Lily Johnson of Knoxville. The ring bearers were Noah Godsey and Jonah Godsey, nephews of the groom, of Furth, Germany.

The scripture was read by Dianne Brown of Loudon.

After the ceremony, a reception was held on the sixth floor of the World's Fair Park's Sunsphere with a panoramic 360-degree view of Knoxville. Music was provided by the couple's favorite local musician, Erick Baker.

The day and evening were amazing from the beginning to the end. It was filled with family, friends, love, laughter, dancing, and beautiful sunshine, sunset and moonlight.

The bride graduated from Farragut High School and received a degree in psychology and French, as well as completing a concentration of nursing courses from the University of Tennessee. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tenn.

The groom graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, and received a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Tennessee. He is employed as a sales engineer for Precision Boilers in Morristown.

The couple honeymooned at the Turks and Caicos Islands. The couple now resides in Morristown.
