Greer and Minor

Angel Alison Minor and Alan Greer were married Feb. 14, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ, Kingsport. Minister Paul Atkins, grandfather of the bride, officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed in the fellowship hall.

The bride is the daughter of Muriel and Jerry Horne of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Paul Atkins of Kingsport, and the late Betty Atkins. The bridegroom is the son of the late Alice and Raymond Greer of Kingsport.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and stepfather and escorted to the altar by her stepfather.

Christy Herbert served as matron of honor. Kristi Grindstaff, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid. Flower girls were Kaitlyn Grindstaff and Aubree Puckett, nieces of the bride. Beverly Standifer, cousin of the bride, served as guestbook attendant.

Terry Larkins, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as best man. Lynn Greer, brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman. Ushers were Thomas Atkins, cousin of the bride, and Joey Casey.

The bride graduated from Sullivan North High School and is employed by Food City.

The bridegroom graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and is employed by Price-Less.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple resides in Kingsport.
