Hale and Olinger

Lorrie Elaine Hale of Johnson City and Joshua Wayne Olinger of Kingsport plan to be married in an open-church ceremony at 3:30 p.m., April 26, 2014, at Boones Creek Christian Church.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Karen Hubbs Hale of Jonesborough, and Darrell and Kay Hale of Johnson City. She is the granddaughter of June Booker Hubbs of Knoxville, the late James A. Hubbs, and the late Charles Pete and Lola Miller Hale, formerly of Gray. She graduated cum laude from Milligan College in 2006. She is employed as the small business coordinator at Blackburn, Childers & Steagall PLC.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Wayne and Jennifer Olinger of Kingsport, and the grandson of Anabell Kitzmiller of Kingsport, the late Charles “Buck” Kitzmiller, and the late Marshal and Rosie Olinger, formerly of Blountville. He graduated from Walters State Community College in 2001. He is employed as the golf course superintendent at The Crossings Golf Club, and is a member of GCSAA and the Tennessee Turfgrass Association.
