Salyer and Redwine

Rhonda Redwine of Church Hill, Tenn., and Robbie Salyer of Church Hill, were united in marriage March 30, 2013, at My Father’s House Church, Surgoinsville. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Junior Brown.

Following the ceremony at private reception was held to honor the newlyweds at Amis Mill Eatery, Rogersville.

Rhonda is the daughter of Ron and Wilma Redwine of Church Hill, and the granddaughter of Carrie Webster of Rogersville, and the late Joe Webster. She is a graduate of Volunteer High School, Church Hill, and is employed as manager and hair stylist at New Dimensions Styling and Tanning Salon, Surgoinsville. Robbie is the son of Jack and Sue Pierson of Church Hill, and Gary and Cheri Salyer of Johnson City, Tenn. He is the grandson of Janie Crawford of Mount Carmel, the late Shack Crawford, Loretta Salyer of Church Hill, and the late Robert “Jack” Salyer. He is a graduate of Volunteer High School, Church Hill, and received a degree in industrial maintenance from Tennessee Technology Center, Surgoinsville. He is employed as a master craftsman by JTH Engineering, Kingsport.

Rhonda was given in marriage by her parents and family. “Hey Pretty Girl” by Kep Moore was sung by her brothers Brandon and Patrick Redwine as she was escorted to the altar by her father.

Rhonda’s nieces, Chloe and Lillie Redwine, were flower girls along with Kendal Housewright Wilmoth. Robbie’s son Parker Salyer served his dad as ring bearer.

Following a honeymoon to St. Petersburg’s Treasure Island in Florida, Robbie, Rhonda and Parker reside in Church Hill.
