Collins and McCord

Grace Owen O’Neill McCord of Kingsport, Tenn., and Sean McNeil Collins of Johnson City, Tenn., were married Aug. 10, 2013. Pastor Tim Bowers of Grace Fellowship Church officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and CeeGee McCord of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Mike and Betty O’Neill of Kingsport, and Scott and Nancy McCord of Sandy Springs, Ga. The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Chris Collins of Johnson City, and the grandson of Robert and Jane LaPella of Johnson City, and JL and Edna Collins of Elizabethton.

Grace was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Brothers of the bride, Sam and John McCord, provided the music.

Bridesmaids were Maddie McCord, cousin of the bride, and good friends, Chrissy Idlette, Maddie McClelland, Amy Estepp, Kayla Bierbaum and Sarah Kenny.

Serving as groomsmen were Sean’s brothers, Ryan, Evan and Alden Collins, and good friends, Sam Crockett, Daniel Foster and Jeb Edwards.

Cousins of the bride, Olivia and Anna Claire McCord were flower girls, and Joseph McCord was ring bearer.

The day was amazing from the beginning to the end. It was filled with family, friends, love and wisdom, flowers, homegrown music, dancing, sunshine and a little rain polished off by a rainbow.

Most of all a couple committed to love each other and journey together as husband and wife.

The couple honeymooned at the Isle of Palms, S.C., and currently reside in Valle Cruis, N.C.
