Murph and Mitchell

Dr. Catherine Anne Murph of Rogersville and Dr. Christopher Ryan Mitchell of Oak Ridge plan to be married Oct. 26, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Roger and Anna Hurd Beverly of Rogersville, and Ed Murph of Rogersville. She is the granddaughter of Eulah Hurd of Rogersville, the late Carl Hurd, and Bob and Jane Murph of Kingsport. She graduated from Cherokee High School and completed undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University. She received a doctor of pharmacy degree cum laude in 2012 from ETSU Gatton College of Pharmacy, where she was a member of APhA-ASP, TPA-TSSP and Phi Delta Chi. Her rotation assignments at Gatton included serving on a medical mission trip to Africa. She is employed at CVS/Pharmacy, Pigeon Forge.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Peggy Mitchell of Oak Ridge, and the late Toby Mitchell. He is the grandson of Richard Anderson of Oak Ridge, the late Therese Anderson, the late Ronald Mitchell, and the late Dora Mitchell. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He graduated cum laude from ETSU Gatton College of Pharmacy in 2012 with a doctor of pharmacy degree. While in pharmacy school he was a member of APhA-ASP, TPA-TSSP and Kappa Psi, and he served on a medical mission trip to Nicaragua. He is employed at CVS/Pharmacy, Jefferson City.
