Morgan and Vanover

Kelly Danielle Vanover and Kory Benjamin Morgan, both of Kingsport, were married May 25, 2013, at Monacello, the estate owned by Ed and Mona Norton. The Rev. Marshall Steinle, pastor at Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church, officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Randall Zane and Kay Vanover of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Rufus and Maurine Vanover of Kingsport, the late Charles and Margaret Cleek, and Lucille Meade Vanover. The bridegroom is the son of Kathy Morgan of Kingsport, and the late Karl Morgan. He is the grandson of Jean Styles of Kingsport, the late Jim Styles, Marion Morgan of West Palm Beach, Fla., and the late Joe Morgan.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.

Amanda Vanover Malone, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Carpenter, cousin of the bride; Savannah Huffman; Jessi Shelton and Jennifer Phillips. Flower girls were Lily Porter and Maggie Malone, niece of the bride. Mary and Rachel Moody, and Maci Cloninger were program attendants.

Kyle Morgan, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Clay Colley, Walter Malone, Brad Hill and Dustin Light. Ring bearers were Ben Porter and Brady Hall, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated from Sullivan North High School and East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Holston Valley Medical Center. She is a member of Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church.

The bridegroom graduated from Sullivan North High School and received an associate’s degree in electromechanical technology from Northeast State Community College. He is employed by Eastman Chemical Company as a maintenance mechanic. He is a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.

Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Kingsport.
