Arnold and Mitchell

Leah Brooke Arnold of Kingsport, Tenn., and William Clark Mitchell of Kingsport plan to be married in a private, evening ceremony Oct. 12, 2013 at Agota Springs.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gerald and Tammy Arnold of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Hubert and Gladys Lawson of Kingsport, and the late Mack and Martha Arnold, formerly of Kingsport. She graduated from Sullivan North High School and received an associate of science degree in early childhood education from Northeast State Community College. She now attends the University of Tennessee, where she plans to graduate in summer 2014 with a bachelor of science degree in child and family studies.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Marlene Mitchell of Kingsport, and the late Tim Mitchell. He is the grandson of Helen Dickson of Kingsport, the late Henry “Duck” Dickson, and the late John William “J.W.” and Norma Mitchell, formerly of Kingsport. He graduated from Sullivan North High School and received an associate of science degree in chemistry from Northeast State Community College. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University in spring 2013. He is employed as a process engineer at CEMEX USA, Knoxville, Tenn.
