Fulwiler and Bean

Whitney Paige Fulwiler of Kingsport, Tenn., and Brandon Thomas Bean of Surgoinsville, Tenn., plan to be married at 6 p.m., Oct. 5, 2013, at Hunter Valley Farm, Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Susan Fulwiler of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Jerry and Ruth Yates of Kingsport, and the late Gerald Owens, formerly of Kingsport. She graduated from Sullivan South High School, received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is employed at Leconte Women’s Healthcare Associates.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Lowell and Lynda Bean of Surgoinsville, and the grandson of the late Sam and Lucille Stewart, formerly of Sneedville, and the late Ben and Dorothy Bean, formerly of Surgoinsville. He graduated from Volunteer High School and received bachelor’s degree in finance from East Tennessee State University, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is employed at the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department.
