Eastridge and Harber

Lauren Elizabeth Harber of Dryden, Va., and Samuel Vance Eastridge of Kingsport, Tenn., were married May 18, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Pennington Gap, Va. Samuel’s grandfathers, the Rev. J. Vance Eastridge and the Rev. Don Turner, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jan and Jeff Harber of Dryden, and the granddaughter of Joyce and Gray Harber of Pennington Gap, Dolly Jones of Jonesville, Va., and the late J.B. Jones, formerly of Jonesville. The bridegroom is the son of Wesley and Joy Eastridge of Kingsport, and the grandson of the Rev. J. Vance and Carlene Eastridge of Johnson City, and the Rev. Don and Donna Turner of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Chelsea Matamoros, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chrissy Idlette, Jennifer Guthmann, Alexis Carson, Madison Minor, Sarah Asbury and Liz Goergen. Allie Jones and Ella Hines, cousins of the bride, were the flower girls.

Tim Eastridge, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Adam Harber, James Neal, Clay Carey, Wesley Idlette, Sam Collins and Samuel McCord. Jackson Chadwell, cousin of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

Sam and Lauren celebrated with family and friends after the ceremony at the John Fox Jr. Museum in Big Stone Gap, Va.

Lauren graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with degrees in biology and psychology. She graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Roanoke, Va., in 2012 with a master of physician assistant studies degree. She works as a PA at West Ridge Orthopaedic and Surgical Specialists, Wytheville, Va.

Sam graduated from Presbyterian College in 2010 with a degree in mathematics, and is currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech in the mathematics department.

The couple resides in Christiansburg, Va.
